- LOOK:It is definitely a good phone with a lot of features and at this price point is way too good. It is more of a all rounder hence you get little bit of everything. It is good looking but not out of the world. The classic Nokia feel is very much there-the good old candy bar. It has a lot of functionality in it with almost all things you want from your phone.
- OS:The S60 OS is old and a lot is talked about it's rivals but still it is pretty good. The phone is equipped with a 600 MHz processor hence it is decently fast. Though heavy themes can slow it down a little bit.
- CAMERA: The 3.2 mp camera is good in certain conditions but at night the flash sucks. Its range is just 1.5m and is under powered, it is a single LED flash and not a duel one. Hence at night the pics are not up to the mark. You can expect good quality photos at day time though with proper photography, i mean look for over/under exposure, twick settings and don't just leave it to auto mode.
- MUSIC:The music experience is good at the most. The music player is the same old styled one though at last pretty decent. The dual speakers are also loud and audible. But the headphones again sucks,Nokia bundles a WH-102 headset with it and it is pretty substandard. Go for an open market headset as it comes with a 3.5mm jack.
- OTHERS: As of other things like maps, office support, gps, application support are pretty good. The battery life is also good staying some 3 days at full charge. One new feature is USB charging which pretty cool. Google maps runs amazingly well in spite the phone not being touchscreen.
To sum up it is definately a great phone. If you don't care for looks it is a good deal. You would not be compromised in any aspect in terms of features,it is pretty well loaded. From my point of view it is better than its Nokia competitors like 5230 as it has a better camera with flash,a faster proceesor etc. Nokia touchscreens at the low end are clearly not a good idea owing to its resistive touchscreen interface which are not very responsive and you have carry a stylus all the time.
So go for it..............................
